Installing and updating the application

Devices supporting the application

You can install the Inspector Cloud Camera 2 application on a tablet or smartphone with either Android or iOS mobile operating system.   Minimum requirements for Android: version 5 and above, at least 2 GB of memory, a camera with autofocus.   Minimum requirements for iOS: iOS 11, minimum iPhone 5s.  

Installing the application on Android device

To install the application, type the application name Inspector Cloud Camera 2 in Google Play Market search, and proceed to install. You can also use this direct link: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=inspector.cloud.camera  

Required Android permissions

To be able to start using the application, you will need to give it the following permissions:   - Camera access - needed to take photos. - Internet access - required to receive and send data from the application. - Storage access - necessary for recording and reading photos. - Location info access - necessary to obtain the coordinates of your location and to search for nearby stores. - Phone and call history access - necessary to obtain the received and sent data traffic statistics.  

Updating the application for Android

For your convenience, we recommend enabling the automatic update of Inspector Cloud Camera 2 application in the Google Play Market.   If you don’t have automatic updates enabled, when launching our application a message with the Update button will pop up. Tap that button to start an update.  

Removing the application from an Android device

If you want to uninstall the application, press the application icon for a few seconds. A pop-up window will appear, select Delete. The removal process may vary on different devices.   You can also remove the application in the Google Play Market. Go to Installed section, tap the application and uninstall.   For Android devices, after removing the application, it is recommended to delete the IC-Scenes folder, located in the internal drive root.  

Installing the application for iOS

To install the application, type the application name Inspector Cloud Camera 2 in App Store search, and proceed to install. You can also use this direct link: https://apps.apple.com/en/app/inspector-cloud-camera-2/id1457947098  

Required iOS permissions

If you want to uninstall the application, tap the application icon for a few seconds and select delete.   You can also remove the application in the App Store. Go to Installed section, tap the application and uninstall.  

How to verify that the application is working correctly

The application works correctly if you were able to sign in, start a visit, complete tasks, close a visit, and have a visit saved in the Visit History.   If an error message appears in the process, please contact the Helpdesk.  

What to do if the application doesn’t start, or crashes

If the application does not start, it is most likely due to outdated components causing conflicts. Try to go into the system settings, and check for updates for your device. If there are updates, update the system. Also, open the application store and update:   - For Android: Google services and components (Play Market, Google, etc.), Android System WebView component, Browser.   After that, run the application again.   If you have problems running the application, check if there is enough memory on your device. If necessary, delete unnecessary files to clear memory. After that, run the application again.   The application also may not start, or crash, if there is a malware on your device. Run the antivirus program, and check the system. After that, run the application again.   If none of these options helped you launch the application, please contact the Helpdesk.
